The Three of Wands

The Three of Wands represents overcoming a difficult challenge and looking back with satisfaction on how you managed the journey as it unfolded. The floor is lava, but you crossed it victorious, and perhaps, singed (or worse) in the process. There were wings...tools, skills, and natural talents...to help, but it was the courage, fortitude, and perserverance that made it possible. The journey may have been long, uncertain, perilous, filled with unexpected obstacles and unintended oppositions, and at times, felt like there was not a safe place to land in order to catch a breath and collect one's thoughts. However, the addage "the greater the risk, the greater the reward" makes the success of reaching the objective(s) that much sweeter and the lesson(s) learned along the way that much more profound. It also conveys the sense that the trials and tribulations are an essential part of the journey to test your strength, character, and resolve, and the end goal is worthy of such hardships.

The Three of Wands is also about reflection. How did you get to where you are? What steps had to be taken and what obstacles had to be overcome to accomplishment the goal? What challenges were actually opportunities for growth and success? Crucibles? Acknowledge the fruits of your labor. Look carefully to recognize the support provided by the Universe to aid in your quest; the help, aid, and guidance from others and spirit guides; and the endurance of your spirit.
